Purity is in the state of collapse, fresh water resources in decline. There is mass scale deforestation going on and most importantly population growth. How to cope with less space and high demand for fresh greens!! Can technology help us deal with the problem? Answer is yes! We propose the concept of developing fully organic soilless farming which is sustainable, self dependent (#AtmanirbharBharat), farming technique powered by Blockchain Technology, Internet Of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) / Machine Learning (ML) systems. Aquaponics is the system that combines conventional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as snails, fish, etc, in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water) in a symbiotic environment. Aquaponics Farming is not just a unique way to grow organic food that is good for the environment, but also a profound teaching tool for Science, Math, Engineering, Technologies and even improve personality, greatly among kids, engaging them in healthy eating, team work, creativity and potentially to change the way we think towards the environment.. There are 3 major components in this system - Fish tank, Filters, and Grow Bed. A fish tank is the most essential component where our fish resides.Fish waste in the fish tank together with water is pumped into the Filters where Nitrifying Bacteria converts toxic Ammonia into Nitrates, and Nitrites which are important for the plants. Then the water flows into the grow bed which provides moisture and nutrients needed for the plants to grow. On the other hand, the plants help clean the water which then flow back into the fish tank. This is a closed loop cycle which keeps running all day long. This kind of farming method includes growing fish and plants without soil and consumes only 10% of water as compared to any traditional farming.. The only thing which goes into the system is fish food and power for the water pump. Renewable energy like the solar system can provide reliable power supplies, which enhance energy security, and reduce the need for electricity in rural locations. Low rainfall situations and drying groundwater levels are main challenges in urban as well as rural areas to keep sufficient water supply. Rain water harvesting is a sustainable way of water conservation and will help conserve the nation's natural resources. The entire system is based upon recycling waste into resources.Teaching people how to grow tons of fresh and organic food, and fish, while recycling the water will automatically make them compassionate and smarter, promote healthy eating and change the way we think on a mass scale..This farming method is a beautiful representation of how to build an ecosystem appropriate to grow food, farming fish and promote biodiversity. Blockchain Technology can be described as a data structure that holds transactional records and while ensuring security, transparency, and decentralization. It is a chain or records stored in the forms of blocks which are controlled by no single authority. Blockchain, which provides a secure, durable, distributed ledger, is known for its resilience and secure nature. IoT Sensors which will collect data like pH level, Nitrogen levels, Water Temperature, Moisture, etc to perform real time analysis by AI/ML algorithms and then to be recorded in the Blockchain (DLT). Analysis report will then help the farmer improve the final yield. QRCode mentioned in the Label of the product will show the buyer all of the transactions that happen in that farm including all the sensor data like pH, temperature, moisture, etc, along with the 'Life Cycle' of the product (if any). Blockchian is going to change the way we trust in business. By putting the Organic Farm information on the Blockchain we are building trust & reputation, and adding value for our business model. The power of having the information that you know, that someone can not temper with and can fully be trusted without having any intermediaries puts us outstanding form any other company that also claims to be organic. AI/ML model algorithm is designed for automated harvesting quickly and efficiently. It can also help pointing out any damage or insect effect or weeds, nutrient deficiency in the plants, analyzing the better plant. The deep neural network ML algorithm keeps learning and improving so that over time it knows how to handle in more efficient ways and better assist the situation for the farmer and improve the yield production. Who can use it? At home - to ensure self-sufficiency, self-dependent (#AtmanirbharBhart) At school - to empower the entire generation. Commercial production or Community farming - to create reselling, powered by Blockchain Smart Contract, IoT, AI/ML Urban Agriculture - “Produces more from less”, when we have less space, lesser water and almost no soil in our urban cities. “We want to leave this world a better place for the people we care about the most”
